About Us

My name is David Black and I am the owner and woodworker for Black Wood Works.  I started Black Wood Works out of my garage as a side project that has now turned into my full time career.  I grew up in woodworking and spent years working as a paramedic.  Woodworking has always been my passion.  I enjoy taking a stack of raw lumber and turning it into a beautiful piece of furniture that will be cherished for years to come. I value my work and each piece is made with precision and the finest wood.  I love to make furniture for people that value high quality furniture and craftsmanship!
